Family Programs in March
What a lovely way to start any day at the library! We invite you to bring your preschool-aged children in for programming. Our youngest learners are bound to have a blast during Let’s Play! This dynamic playgroup is designed for the more active child (3 and under). We've created a safe space for families to connect and children to interact with each other in open play. The loose structure will allow the group to fluidly spend time socializing as well as learning. We’ll meet at 10:00 - 11:30am on Tuesday, March 5th at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch & 10:00am on Tuesday, March 19th at the Jeffersonville Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library.
Another fun opportunity for preschool-aged children a bit older (ages 3-5) is a more traditional storytime where we read together, sing songs, learn age-old rhymes, participate in felt board-type activities, craft and play with our friends! We’ll meet at 10:15am on Friday, March 15th at the Delaware Free Branch.
We’re excited to continue our exploration of the fascinating world of STEAM. This month we'll be exploring the upcoming Solar Eclipse. During our time together, we'll learn more about what an eclipse is with hands-on activities. Then create projects that will help us to safely enjoy the eclipse. Plus go home with safety glasses to witness this rare experience at home. Children ages 7+, join us from 4:45 - 5:45 PM at the Delaware Free Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library on Friday, March 22nd. Supplies are included and space is limited so be sure to reserve your spot today.
