Teen Programs in April

We have lots going on for the teens at the Western Sullivan Public Library.  First we have Teen D.I.Y. Each month, we’ll try our hand at creating a do-it-yourself project. In April, we’ll work with Marc Switko to explore Assemblage Art. After we've made our creation, we'll discuss just what project to pick for next month! Join us at 3:00pm on Monday, April 15th at our Tusten-Cochecton Branch of Western Sullivan Public Library.

Feel free to  stick around for Teen Advisory Group. Advisory group meets to talk about how the library can best serve you. We choose which YA books, movies and games to order; discuss ideas for the teen website; write articles and book reviews; design programs for you and your peers or help with programming for the younger kids. Get involved to whatever extent you can and earn COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS for your time spent with us! We'll meet at 4:00pm on Monday, April 15th at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch of Western Sullivan Public Library. Come see what we're all about!

Next, we invite teens to Video Game Club for a chance to come enjoy unstructured time to unwind in a space designated just for them. Join us as we gather with some friends, old and new, to enjoy a night of gaming! We’ll have our PS4 ready to go, as well as board games, art projects and snacks...do all or none of the above! We will meet at the Jeffersonville Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library on Wednesday, April 17th at 4:30pm

Then we will host a Teen Book Club! Join us as we meet to chat about what we’ve just read! Stop by the front desk at your local branch to pick up a copy of this month's book The Music of Zombies by Vivian French and meet us at 3:30 pm on Thursday, April 18th at the Delaware Free Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library to discuss the book. We’ve also expanded to offer online chat throughout the month for those who can't make it or can’t wait until the in-person meet-up. For more information about joining us online, please email wspl.childrens@gmail.com.

Light refreshments will be served. These programs are intended for teens & tweens ages 11-17. Register online at www.WSPLonline.org.
