Robot Club and Open Support

The Jeffersonville Robot Club is a monthly gathering for older children and teens, ages 8 and up. The Robot Club meets on Tuesday, May 21st at 4:30pm at the Jeffersonville Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library to assemble various robotic kits, provided by the library. These kits teach the children valuable aspects of STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math). This month’s project is an amphibious vehicle capable of traveling on both land and water! Since the library supplies the robotics kits for the students, registration is limited to only 12 students each month and the registration is first come, first served. Patrons can register online at or by calling the Jeffersonville Branch at (845) 482-4350.

Open Technology Support is a time for patrons to bring their various devices into the library to get one-on-one support from Abram VanHassel, the library’s Multimedia Technician. Open Support Hours are on Mondays at the Delaware Free Branch in Callicoon from 1-4pm, Wednesdays at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch in Narrowsburg from 4-7pm, and Fridays at the Jeffersonville Branch in Jeffersonville from 10am-1pm. There is no registration process for Open Technology Support and patrons are helped in the order they arrive.
