Homeschool Programs at WSPL

The Library offers programs throughout the month of November for homeschool families to get together and share ideas and experiences. At “Homeschool Hangouts” adults can connect with other homeschooling adults and chat about how they navigate this aspect of life. Teens can tuck away into a cozy corner to hang out while the little ones are free to enjoy open play in the children’s room. There will be an adult supervising the children, but please do not leave the building.

The Homeschool Hangouts group will meet at the Jeffersonville Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library on Wednesday, November 7th at 3:30pm AND at the Delaware Free Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library on Thursday, November 15th at 1:30pm.
Experience a “Magical Boat Ride” on Tuesday, November 27th at 10:30 am at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library. During this time, we’ll write about where this ride shall go, then we'll take the ride together, finding clues along the way. We'll learn how to decode the Captain's Message to find our treasure AND write one back to help our friends to find! It should be a gem of a time…Please register online at
