Children's Programs at the Library

Family Fun Game Night: Come enjoy a night out as a family!  We’ll get together with other families to play some good ol’ fashion board games...and some new ones! Join us at the Tusten - Cochecton Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library on Monday, April 15th from 5:00 - 6:00pm. Light refreshments will be served; come for any or all of the time! Please register online at www.WSPLonline.org

Storytime: We'll read together, sing songs, learn age-old rhymes, participate in felt board type activities, craft and play with our friends! This program is intended for ages 3-5, but all are welcome. We’ll meet at 10:30am on Tuesdays (April 9th, 16th and 23rd) at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library and at 10:30am on Thursday, April 11th at the Delaware Free Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library. Register online at www.WSPLonline.org.

Let’s Play! This storytime is intended for the more active child and children under 3. We'll have a healthy blend of open play, structured games, felt board activities and storybook reading. The loose structure will allow the group to fluidly spend time socializing together. We’ll meet at 10:00am on Wednesdays (April 10th and 24th) at the Jeffersonville Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library. Register online at www.WSPLonline.org

As part of 2019’s NYS Summer Reading Program Theme “A Universe of Stories”, each month this year we’ll explore a different aspect of our solar system. In April, we’ll celebrate the Epic Earth we live on with a visit from the National Park Service! We’ll start with Storytime at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 16th at our Tusten-Cochecton Branch. Next, we’ll learn all about the animals of earth at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, April 17th at our Jeffersonville Branch AND at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 18th at our Delaware Free Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library.  Register online at www.WSPLonline.org.
