Book Clubs at the Library

The Western Sullivan Public Library is proud to offer you four book clubs throughout the month of October.

The Jeffersonville Book Club will meet Friday, October 13th at 4pm at the Jeffersonville Branch to discuss The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. "An unforgettable—and Hollywood-bound—new thriller... A mix of Hitchcockian suspense, Agatha Christie plotting, and Greek tragedy."—Entertainment Weekly

The Callicoon Book Club meets Tuesday, October 24th at 6pm at the Delaware Free Branch in Callicoon to discuss Orlando by Virginia Woolf. “Virginia Woolf’s most unusual creation, Orlando is a fantastical biography as well as a funny, exuberant romp through history that examines the true nature of sexuality.” -Amazon

The Narrowsburg Book Club meets Wednesday, October 25th at 11am at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch in Narrowsburg to discuss The Reading List by Sara Nisha Adams. “An unforgettable and heartwarming debut about how a chance encounter with a list of library books helps forge an unlikely friendship between two very different people in a London suburb.”--Amazon 

The Catskills Rainbow Readers Book Club will meet Thursday, October 26th at 5pm at the Delaware Free Branch to discuss A Place Called Home by David Ambroz. “It's impossible to read A Place Called Home and not want to redouble your efforts to fight the systems of poverty that have plagued America for far too long. In this book, David shares his deeply personal story and issues a rousing call to make this a more humane and compassionate nation.”—Hillary Rodham Clinton
